1. Keep Yourself Hydrated

Always make water as an essential part of your day and never leave home without it this summer. Do not drink extremely chilled water as it will only wreak havoc on your health. The benefits of hydration are plentiful. Drinking 8 to 10 glasses of water a day helps rehydrate the body and making it function better.

2. Eat Fresh Seasonal Fruits and Vegetables

Summer means fresh produce! Visit your local farmers’ market or grocery store and pick freshly harvested foods. Even though most vegetables and fruits are available all year round; consuming seasonal foods have their own health benefits. Load up on mangoes, plums, tomatoes, berries, watermelon, oranges, et al.

3. Lifestyle Modification

Summer is always a perfect time to think healthy. Get outside and start exercising or take pleasure in a new sport or activity. New social settings and events will keep you busy as you try to quit smoking.

A good sunscreen with correct SPF should be applied properly and repeated as frequently as required. Opt for a hat with a wide brim for full protection as a plain cap won’t protect your face from the sun coming at an angle.

There are high chances of skin pigmentation during summer. Skin that gets extra exposure to sun becomes dark and patchy. Apply some soothing creams over your skin daily or apply cold compresses. Do not miss the sunscreen.
