According to the recent updates on Monday, one of the scientists at the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has been tested positive for COVID-19 after which the ICMR headquarters remain closed for disinfection and sanitization of the place. The infected scientist is said to be a core team member and is associated with the National Institute of Research in Reproductive Health in Mumbai which is a part of the COVID-19 research team. According to sources, the infected scientist had come to Delhi to attend a meeting during the last week of May. The scientists were asked to work from home while the sanitization was going on and they were to come into work when absolutely necessary. A message was sent via Whatsapp to notify the members.
