The symptoms of COVID-19 may appear from 2 to 14 days after exposure. In mild to moderate cases, the usual symptoms observed are dry cough, headaches, shaking chills, fever, and tiredness. Some patients may also present with a sore throat, nasal congestion body aches and pain or in some cases diarrhea may also be observed. Some people may also experience loss of smell or taste. The symptoms of COVID-19 are somewhat similar to other types of respiratory illnesses, such as influenza. A large number of people (80%) recover without the need for any special treatment.
